Biography

Born in 1937 in Paphos. He graduated from METU Civil Engineering and pursued graduate studies in the U.S. on a Fulbright scholarship. Between 1974 and 1994 he held various ministerial posts; notably, he served a total of 13 years as Foreign Minister across 1978-1983 and 1985-1994.
