Biography

He was born in 1923 in Nicosia and graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Cambridge in 1946. He held various roles in law and the judiciary, became a member of the founding parliament in 1983, and served as Minister of Defense and Foreign Affairs between 1983 and 1985.
